About the Opportunity

The Housing Connection is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker who can speak mandarin fluently. The role requires you to be present every Wednesday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm for house help and grocery shopping. 

Your responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with day-to-day activities, including household chores;
  • Drop-in support at client’s home;
  • Participating in team meetings, reporting on client progress as required;
  • Have the ability to carry and lift things. The client needs help with domestic household work, that involves cleaning, cooking and grocery shopping. 
The Pay
 
Starting at $40.26 – $44.29 per hour under the SCHADS Award: Level 2, and commensurate with qualifications and experience plus Superannuation. Salary Packaging Fringe Benefits of up to $15,990 pa.

Please note: A current and valid driver’s licence along with a car is required, the ability to live and work in Australia. NDIS workers check is required. Training will be provided to include First Aid.
