Support Coordinator Role

A support co-ordinator plays a critical role in supporting participants to navigate the NDIS system, understand their NDIS plans, connect into the broader system of services and to build their capacity to direct their supports independently over time.  In this role you will be assisting NDIA participants and their families to connect to and coordinate informal, mainstream and funded supports in a complex service delivery environment and to report on participant goals and outcomes. It may also include resolving points of crisis, developing capacity and resilience in a participant’s network and coordinating supports from a range of sources.

This role would be based in Chatswood. We offer flexible working hours and access to fringe benefits.

  • Represent the best interests of NDIS participants, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in support coordination or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for working with people with disabilities.
  • Relevant IT skills to ensure adequate skill in record keeping, report writing, NDIS portal access and information interpretation.
  • This role is based in Chatswood, NSW.
  • Some travel to client locations may be required.
  • We are seeking a full-time support coordinator that can work in the office.
