The Housing Connection (THC) operates a website which provides lots of valuable information for those interested in their services for disabled adults in Australia. One of the features on this website is an expression of interest page which allows prospective new clients or their family members to submit details online and begin the application process for services from the Housing Connection.

When new clients use the expression of interest form to submit their personal details to The Housing Connection, they can expect to receive a quick response to their request. The page can be filled out and submitted online, which is the quickest option, or it can be downloaded to a computer and printed out, then filled out and submitted either by mail or at a local Housing Connection office.

All of the personal information which is collected via the expression of interest form by The Housing Connection is kept in strict confidentiality in accordance with the 1988 Federal Privacy Act. The form includes an area for contact details such as name, address, telephone, email and date of birth. They also ask for information on the type of disability the applicant suffers from and whether or not they already have an ADHC caseworker or an advocate.

The expression of interest form also asks about the type of funding a prospective client has in place, which may include HACC or ADHC funding, and whether or not they are applying for services as a fee for service client. Another section of the form asks detailed questions about the current living accommodations of the applicant, such as whether they are currently living with their parents and where they would prefer to live.
